Buffalo State, a member of SUNY’s Business Intelligence Initiative, has been actively preparing for financial business intelligence systems since 2012. Access to financially-based business intelligence dashboards for selected members of the Buffalo State community begins in May 2014.
The goal of financial business intelligence at Buffalo State is to empower campus decision makers by providing them with the information they need to analyze and manage their administrative responsibilities. BI will support the campus objective of transitioning to an all funds, or consolidated, budgeting model.
